Pardon Us (1931)

Produced by Hal Roach
Directed by James Parrott

Featuring Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, June Marlowe, Walter Long, Wilfred Lucas, James Finlayson and Tiny Sandford

Imprisoned for selling their home-brewed beer during Prohibition, Laurel and Hardy make a surprising ally thanks to Stan's raspberry-sounding loose tooth. They make a temporary escape, and unwittingly ruin a second attempt when a machine-gun is passed along...

Laurel & Hardy's first starring feature film was originally less than an hour in length. The restoration runs approximately 68 minutes and includes an entirely new routine, when a fire starts during a prison break. This is the longest version ever assembled.
