They are meeting Leslie Henson, celebrated English comedian who invited them along to see PARTY, the play at the Strand Theatre, London, which Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer have secured for filming.” But if this property was indeed adapted by Leo the Lion for filming, it was not under that title. Nor did it play any role in the genesis of HOLLYWOOD PARTY (1934), the musical comedy hodgepodge which not even Laurel & Hardy, The Three Stooges, and Mickey the Mouse could save.
